Name of Assignment: Project One-Pager
Subject: Junior Seminar
Facilitator/Teacher: Mrs. Cassie Kepler
Description of Work/Assignment: Communicate the ideas from your Brainstorm activities 4 and 5 in a visual way. Making sure to include a creative project title, driving question, project vision, possible mentors, and why this matters, is my first step.
Which 21st Century Skill do you feel this assignment addresses, and why? This project addresses Self-Directional skills. I was required to direct myself and set goals for my own junior project.
What are you most proud of from this assignment, and why? I am most proud of finishing this assignment. I find that it is a horrible tedious thing that I cannot stand and that one-pagers are the most stupid thing to exist in the history of mankind.
What was most difficult about completing this task? The most difficult part about completing this task was the background. I had trouble picking a junior project out and I lacked the motivation to put my finger down on one of the projects.
How could you improve this work? If you could start over, what would you do differently? I would try to use Adobe Photoshop or a more professional tool to create it. Compared to the other one-pagers it was dull because they used different tools compared to me.
How does this relate to what you have learned in the past? This relates to all the past times that I had learned and created one-pagers on google drawings in Ms.Ford's class.
How did you develop and/or improve upon your 21st Century Skill with this assignment? I developed and improved my 21st Century skills in this assignment because I really struggled with setting goals in the past and this was the first time that I was actually able to establish set goals.
How can you apply this to future learning? I hope I can’t apply it to future learning, but if I have to I will probably use it again in Senior Seminar for my senior project.
